Personal data

Data controller
Infynix — Romain Le Bris & Raphaël Kourdache. Contact: infynix-official@outlook.com
Contact form
When you use the form on the Contact page, the name, email address, subject, and message you enter are used to open your email client (via a mailto: link) addressed to infynix-official@outlook.com. This data never passes through our servers — it only goes through your own email client. It is kept in our inbox for as long as needed to process your request, then deleted once no longer useful.
Community forum
When you post a message or a reply on the forum, the username you choose and the content of your message are stored publicly in our database (hosted via GitHub), and remain visible to all forum visitors until the message is removed by a moderator. A technical copy is also kept temporarily in your browser (see "Cookies and trackers" below), so the forum can still display content if the network connection drops.
We recommend you never include sensitive personal information (full name, phone number, address, banking details) in your public posts.
Data recipients
- GitHub (Microsoft) — stores the forum data and the site's code, hosted outside the European Union.
- Netlify — our hosting provider, hosted outside the European Union (see "Hosting provider" above).
Retention period
Forum posts are kept until manually deleted by an administrator. Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to process your request.
Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your data. To exercise this right — for example, to request the deletion of a forum post — contact us at infynix-official@outlook.com, specifying the message or username in question.
Community Forum Rules
By posting on the Infynix Community Forum, you agree to the following rules:
- English only.
- No offensive, hateful or discriminatory language.
- No spam, links or self-promotion.
- No personal attacks or harassment.
- Stay on topic — Infynix products only.
- No sharing of private data or phone numbers.
- Inappropriate words and phone numbers are automatically censored.
To keep the forum usable for everyone, we also apply automated anti-abuse measures, based on identifiers stored locally in your browser (see the trackers table below and our My Cookies page):
- Flood control — a limited number of posts/replies is allowed within a short time window.
- Cooldown — a short delay is enforced between two consecutive posts or replies.
- Duplicate detection — identical messages posted repeatedly are blocked.
- Three-strike system — repeated rule violations (e.g. banned words) result in a temporary posting restriction.
- Reporting — you can report a post or reply you believe breaks these rules. A post or reply is automatically removed once it has been reported by 2 different visitors, pending review by our team.
These measures rely only on identifiers stored in your own browser — not on tracking across devices or third-party advertising.
